Mariteme in Britian

In England no town ism more than 170 kilometers from the sea . In Britain is very important the history about the ships and the sea. The British Navy was the biggest navy in the world at one time . Now it's smaller , but in his time was very big now the ships are still used for importing and exporting goods and for taking people on business or holiday. The more important ports in Britain are Liverpool and Southampont, in Liverpool it's a very great museum of maritime history . Ships like this one -the Cutty Sark at Greeenwich in London - brought tea from the India to Britian . And the people very rich bought those tea . Between 1830 and 1930 nine million people from all over Europe left from port of Liverpool to star a new life in Australia or America . They crossed the Atlantic from Liverpool or Southampton to New York in five or six days . The most famous ship was the Titanic . It sank in 1912 and over 1,500 people drowned . It was the worst disaster in maritime history . And is one film about this catastrophe it's very famous TITANIC!
